The visual identity and card design for Between Legends was built to immerse players in a rich, dark fantasy world. The project encompassed a complete branding package, including the main logo, intricate card frames, and various card back designs.
Card Back Variations
A crucial element of any trading card game is the card back, which players see constantly. We designed a highly detailed back featuring arcane geometric patterns, elegant golden borders, and a central emblem. The design was prepared in multiple color variations to accommodate different factions, rarity tiers, or special editions.
Logo & Iconography
To anchor the game's brand, we designed a prominent, stylized logo featuring subtle fantasy motifs like a dragon head and weaponry. This was paired with a simplified emblem that serves as a core icon across the game's UI and physical assets.
Card Fronts & UI Layout
The core of the TCG experience lies in its card fronts. For Between Legends, we developed UI templates that perfectly frame character art—such as the Astraeus, Star-Sworn champion cards. The layout intuitively separates costs, types (like Champion and Order), rules text, and combat stats (attack and defense) using elegant metallic borders and distinct faction gems.
